My friend and I are looking for an apartment.. can anyone help?
I arrived in Barcelona yesteday, have been in the UK and Vancouver for the past 2 months - I am staying here with my mate for approx 1 year and am having trouble finding an apartment. We do not want to go through an agency as it is very expensive - anyone looking for a couple of flatmates?
I am English/Australian - 21yo - a deferred student (am also looking for work in Barca),
My friend is Spanish/Mexican - 25yo - studying his masters here in Barcelona.
We are both clean and respectable, just looking for somewhere to live while we are here.
Hope to hear from you soon, any advice would also be appreciated.

When I first arrived in Madrid, I was looking for a flat too. And just looking in the street, there was a lot of phone number in balcony, door...
Another website is for example:idealista.com, it's very great and there is a lot of announcement.
You can try the "locutorio" too.
