I am interested in finding out about obtaining a Z visa and residence permit while being HIV positive. I'll have a job in a large city.
I understand no health certificate/check is required for the visa itself and that this is required for the residence permit. I have read that a few people who apply for a Z visa go on to work in China while being HIV positive (and on treatment) and can stay with no issues.
Can anyone provide any updated information on their experiences? What was the process? How did you work with HR before arriving to China, and so on? Feel free to private message me.
