Wifi card or USB adapter in HCMC?

There are six stores selling these within two blocks of my house.  Just go for a walk. 

Go to a Viettel or Mobiphone store.

You really should make an effort before starting a thread for something so trivially easy as this.

Also, I don't want a 3G dongle, I want a network adaptor that connects to existing wifi..

I don't mean to sound harsh but the only item easier to buy in urban Vietnam is a bowl of noodles.

Okay, WiFi dongles are indeed getting harder to find since all new laptops come with WiFi built in.  Try Lazada, they deliver COD and have everything.  failing that, I'd go ebay.  I have about five of these i don't use, I'd give you one gratis but I'm hours away.

I too have an old laptop pre-WiFi, it doesn't even have USB.  You won't find PCMCIA anywhere but ebay.

As per my original post, it is a PCI card I need, for a desktop. Failing that a USB equivalent.

I cannot say enough nice things about them, since I left my wallet (with $300 in it) sitting at the register, last year.  45 minutes after I left, I got a call from them and thought it was someone dialing the wrong number, so I hung up on them!  They persisted until I realized what was going on.  They found my number inside my wallet, along with the cash (I assume).  I didn't ask, because it was all there when I retrieved the walllet...

Same answer.  WiFi is built in now so you need to shop sources that supply parts for less than leading edge machines.  PCMCIA, PCI, USB, whatever, WiFi network adaptors are for older machines, and I see very little support anywhere in VN for older machines.

I've been looking for a used laptop to run Linux, I could buy a new one and boot right into an install DVD the first time I turn it on, but the idea of paying Microsoft for a Windows 8 license makes my skin crawl.  Nobody here seems to sell used anything.

I was at Phong Vu a few week ago and they had a tplink PCI wifi card. It was the only brand / model they had in stock. I was going to get a new one for my desktop but didn't at the time. It was around 300,000 vnd. Cheers.
