Funniest 'English' mistake I've seen

You guys are killing me!!!  :D

I've been an English teacher for over 27 years and I can't stop laughing over the postings here. Way too funny!!!

I've been living in Brazil for 13 years now and it's not much different here with English mistakes, mostly because people here use Google Translator, which doesn't correct spelling or typing mistakes. One of the funniest I've seen here is a banner that has been on the front of a local Baptist church for the whole 3 years I've been living in Macaé -RJ.

John 14:6    I am the cumin and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

WAY translated into Portuguese is CAMINHO
CUMIN (the spice) is COMINHO

Funnier than the obvious typo that caused the confusion is the fact that this city is loaded with English speaking foreigners because it is Brazil's petroleum capital, and nobody in all that time has mentioned it to the pastor.

Thanks for the topic, I'll stay tuned for sure.......... just love it!!!

Cheers,
