Has anyone had good luck finding affordable hiking boots for boys in South Jakarta? Don't think I can justify expensive boots when they outgrow shoes so quickly. Thanks for any suggestions.

I don't know what you define as affordable, but there is a reasonably priced outdoor gear shop in STC mall next to Plaza Senayan.

Eiger is the most affordable I've seen so far, yet still with qualities. North Face is super, but also too expensive for my wallet. You can also try HiTec Indonesia, Karrimor Indonesia, or try Indonesian online shops for any other budgeted ones.
