This is based primarily on whether or not you meet the requirements for being declared a ''resident individual'' for tax purposes.

For tax purposes a resident individual includes an individual who resides in Ghana for more than 182days within a calender year [ 01/01 - 31/12].

All resident individuals pay income tax on all gains and profits at the graduated income tax rate.
