What qualification does a Truck driver requires for a Job in Poland  and what is the upper age limit?

Speaking Polish very well is compulsory.

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

For journeys in scope of the Drivers Hours regulations:

A driving licence appropriate to the class of vehicle being driven.
Certificate of Professional competence (driver)
ADR certificate (when carrying qualifying dangerous goods)

As in most things, there are variations, for example their is no age limit, you just need to be able to pass the medical/eye examination for your age.

Driver CPC will be tested in Polish; as the UK is no longer in the EU (and this is an EU thing), I suspect that the UK Driver CPC will no longer be an available option.

ADR is required when carrying good that fall under this regulation, there are Excepted quantity and Limited quantity exemptions for small quantities.

Speaking any language is not a specific requirement of the Regulations; however, the EU permits documentation in the home language of the consignor plus English, French and German if required.  It follows that the driver must be able to understand and comply with any instructions given to him both in writing and by the emergency services.  So working for a Polish based company operating only in Poland, then yes, the driver will need to be able to speak, read and understand Polish.

Hope this helps.
