Hi. My husband is a qualified Maths teacher who is starting a new job at an international school in Vientiane in January. I have a Tefl qualification but don't have a degree. My question is, can I work in Laos at a Language school? I would like to have something to do whilst my husband is at school. Thanks for any info.

As you do have a formal qualification I suggest you contact language schools for possible employment.
Perhaps a part time job. Have you considered the international schools.

International schools will not employ you without a degree. Language schools may well do so. In a language school you will need to pay for your own work permit and visa. Most work at language schools is in the evening however.

Thank you. If I work I want to do so legally. I know in Thailand you have to have a degree in order to get a work permit. I'm not sure if that's the case in Laos
