Re: How to make friends in Nepal
[b]Making friends in Nepal is very easy so it seems. However I personally think, that it depends on whether you are male or female. For expat women I reccommend to befriend Nepalese women and not men. Except of course if yo really seek a Nepalese man for your personal relationship...
but be careful! Take your time and see who they are. They belong to plenty of different castes and religions etc. Nepalese men are behaving quite 'macho' towards me here in Damauli in the middle of Nepal. I do not know how this is in the rest of the country but here....yuck! They are not really after friendship I guess!
Women seek contact with me all the time and they all want to be friends with me. They are very curious about family, kids, work and about my country Belgium. I have already 2 very good friends here. The only thing is that they do not quite understand that I am all alone in Nepal without a husband. On the other hand I have the feeling that they are a little envious about my freedom to do whatever I like. [b]

Re: How to make friends in Nepal
When you are in Nepal, you can take more adventure travels like trekking, rafting, bungee jumping, paragliding and more. So, there you will get more friends easily because of Nepali peoples are more friendly than other.
Next, you can join any organizations or individual, visit rural villages, help them a little things like pencils for primary students, you will get different experiences than your normal daily life because you will get more respects, see picture.
So, you are expert on making Nepali friends.
