One short Google search (which you could have done yourself) brought up the following information:
You can use your Canadian driving license for 6 month after moving to Germany, as long as you carry an official German translation or an international driving license with it.
After that, you need to convert it to a German driving license. You will not need to do a practical driving test, but depending on various reasons, you might or might not need to pass a theory test and/or a medical examination. Contact your local Führerscheinstelle (driving licence authority) to do this.
