Removal of EXWIFE name from passport

You cannot change the names that are already printed in an issued passport.

Only when your passport falls due for renewal can you get your spouse's name amended, by providing the required documentary evidence to the passport issuing authorities - whether in India or elsewhere.

You will be able to change the name of your spouse in your passport only when you apply for a new book during your passport renewal.
