Where to complain for labor rights

Hello guys,
I got a job in a restaurant, then my manager some how was delaying giving me a contract. I insisted to get a contract but when i did he fired me, stole half of my salary for the hours I have worked and didnt pay what we agreed on per hour.
I am a fresh immigrant and not a member of any labor unions. but I have a fiancee VISA that allows me to work
any help to where or who I can file a complain to?
thank you very much in advance

Apparently you worked without a contract? I am not 100% sure that is even legal as a "trial period" or they still had to give you some form of contract.
I would recommend involving a lawyer. As they are expensive a good alternative is to check at the university of your city, normally the law branch has some kind of free support for people that need simple matters like this taken care of and it's free (it is free practice for the students from what I understood).
