Does anyone here ever need to convert money from other currencies to HRK? Who do you use? The only FX place I've found so far that deals with Croatia currency is Currency Solutions.

I have been told banks are the best place to do so in most countries. I don't know about there.

I should have explained better, I'm talking about larger sums than you can do with an ATM. My current requirement is for buying a house, albeit a very cheap house. I need to transfer 107,000 Kuna.

Best way is through bank. Also if you have a regular income from UK in pounds set up a account that will accept pounds and then transfere to a kuna account. We have found this the best way. we use erste bank and get good exchange rates.

You certainly need to shop around with exchange rates. If I had let my Hungarian bank change the money for the house it would have cost me an extra 1000 Euros! I went with the currency Solutions deal and my 14,000 Euro house cost me about 14,285 Euros.
