My sisters always ask me to bring fans back for them....so if you have younger girls (or any females) in your family, fans are a fun idea. If you can get it into your country, snake/scorpion wine is a good choice too. Otherwise I usually gift the hand crafted wooden sculptures of water buffalo or the Vietnamese woman figurines.
