Hi !
I will move to NY at the beginning of June for a year and a half. I would like to find a temporary solution for accommodation during my first month in order to be able to find a flat to rent once there.
I was thinking of a sublet of a studio for a month, or flat-sharing, or a room to rent in an American family.
I will work in Manhattan, so I would prefer to find accommodation in Manhattan.
If you have any advice, if you want to sublet your flat in June, if you know anybody looking for someone to rent a room... don't hesitate to contact me :

I haven't done it, but many of my friends have got great sub-lets through craigslist.com so I'd recommend trying that. There's lots of scamming there, so go in with all your senses aware and you'll be fine.
