If you buy toys from stores BE VERY CAREFUL as toys manufactured in China have poisoned, contain lead paint and are generally poor quality.
You can buy quality educational toys at the Minh Khai (or similar) book store located between Nguyen Thi Minh Khai and Pham Viet Chan streets close by the Nguyen Van Cu roundabout/traffic circle.
The store has genuine Lego and Meccano. (Third floor)
