One of my companies has a free training program where a handful of students, at a time, are taught how to do various tasks, one of which is designing printed circuit boards.
They have 'reworked' all our in-house PCB's for practice and now we want to try them on something totally new.
All we require is a schematic, mechanical details, detailed components lists (maybe samples of unusual components), specifications, etc. We only do this for single or double-sided boards. No SMD.
The student's final work is checked by an experienced PCB layout technician and optimised with the student learning the art.
On occasion we might require a physical sample to be made - these are done at your cost. You pay what we pay.
The final 'product' are Gerber files already for production and all your material is returned. We also supply prints of the schematic and the PCB.
We get a trained student and you get a free layout and NO INVOICE (except for samples).
