Welcome to Bahrain, in advance! 
When are you planning to come here? If it is within the next month or so, Bahrain and many countries around the Gulf region will be quiet and dry during Ramadan so you might not be able to get the best ouf of this island. Do not forget that you cannot eat, chew, drink and smoke outside until around 6PM during Ramadan. It is a serious offence. But I guess you know all about this since you travel a lot.
