places to rent for students on a tight budget

Hi Leonkam,

I really enjoy your posts, they are very informative especially to a foreigner like myself who has no idea about looking for the right place.

Are you able to throw some light on places to rent for students on a tight budget. Looking for a 2 bedroom apartment, not too far away as college is in Kasturi area of Jalan Hang.

Other than looking online for an apartment which as far as I see, is catered for professionals not students. Everything looks way out of budget.

What about transportation are there buses, trains etc?

Thanks in advance and looking forward to your reply.
