Procedure for getting British power of attorney recognised in Portugal

In the UK (England + Wales) there are two types of " power of attorney ", one for legal matters and one for medical.  In Portugal I have arranged POA for legal matters by just seeing an suitable lawyer and signing the papers.

I am only interested in working in Portugal, I am a lawyer graduated from the University of Havana, with several degrees in business creation and customer service, I am a single mother and it is difficult for me to work in my country, a friend told me about this site

The authentication of the foreign public officer's signature in the document/POA is made by a Portuguese diplomatic or consular agent in UK (in this case), and with an embossed seal.

If a foreign national wishes to practise law in Portugal, in order to apply for registration at PT Bar association (ordem dos advogados), it is necessary to get recognition of the law degree obtained abroad by a Portuguese university.

This prior recognition of law degrees by a Portuguese university is not the responsibility of the Bar Association but of the PT Directorate-General for Higher Education.
