Tax on property in Netherlands

If one owns property in Netherlands, but is not resident, what is the tax situation

You do not pay any tax on rental income from the property (if you rent it).

There is a yearly council tax, garbage and water tax along with the usual utilities if you've not rented it excluding these.

There is also the Wealth tax if you own a substantial amount of the property.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

In addition to what James has offered above, there is also a tax called Onroerendezaakbelastingen, or OZB which may be applicable.  The Amsterdam city website has a much better explanation; this link will take you straight to it.  it's a national tax, so applies across the whole country.

I hope this helps.
