Urgently I need advice, I came to Oman through friend no agency as a house maid but my main responsibility is elderly care but also some house work which means I work 24/7. No agreement we signed with my boss but my salary was 100 omr it's four month now and I requested to increase my salary to 130 omr but my boss said my salary have to remain as it's for two years soon a I want to talk to her. Is this two years Visa means that my salary is fixed because I've no off day, no break Time unless am eating or shower and no room (privacy) help me out

Hi,

On your Visa or resident card, check your sponsor name, and who is your sponsor/company. If that your current boss is your sponsor, then you can request, an official contract from him, if any other then you can leave this owner and contact your original sponsor.

Finally, if your boss is forcing you and holding you against your will, you can contact ROP , Labour court or your embassy. The details of their contacts are available online.
