Disabled and wanting to move to Tenerife to live.

Hi all,

I am a UK resident and retired early.  I have limited mobility due to arthritis in my feet.  This is not likely to spread so I still have the use of the rest of my body - however I do need to use a mobility scooter.

I am due to have a holiday in Los Christianos in March and am looking to rent a studio property there to test whether it is OK for me to move there permanently after the holiday (I want to rent for about six months or so to test).  I know that warm weather helps my arthritis.

I have a fairly good income due to a private pension that is protected from inflation but do not want to buy a property.  I would be looking to rent long term if I moved there.

Can anyone give me any guidelines about costs and budgets etc?

Many thanks, smile

Angie.
