allow me to correct some.

yes you can apply a job here with tourist visa. but you have to really make sure and ask and reconfirm that the company you're applying to, will process your working visa and it should be shouldered by the company. if they will not do that, then don't bother to work there. it's not a good company.
me, and other indonesian friends moved here with tourist visa and our visa was upgraded by the company. Alien employment permit (AEP) card will be processed by the company as well. so technically, yes you can try to find a job here, but it depends on what company you're applying to.
