Hello all, I have been looking for a place to retire for a few years and it was mentioned to me I may want to look at Vietman. All I realy want to do is snorkel from shore and do volunteer work.... On a low budget. I do not need to live on the water but would like swimming within walking distance. I am a 58 year young single woman. Does anyone have a destination idea I could research?

I believe Vietnam is right what you need.
Expenditures depends on your needs and wishes. There are a lot of volonteer opportunities including UN ones but not only.
