What are the symptoms of malaria, I have read that it will come back is there a shot to take that will keep you from catching it again.?

There are several symptoms of malaria but generally it is fever followed by chills, headache and aching joints, nausea and diahorea.
Not sure there is a vaccine but quinine generally clears the parasite out of your system.
You can take medication weekly to mitigate the effects but the best prevention is not being bitten.

I agree with what hkann.
No instant cure but keep from getting bitten. Long sleeved shirts and trousers at dusk and dawn. Ctironella oil keeps the mosquitoes at bay.
I have had malaria for 35+ years and I take no preventative medicines at all as for me, they mask the symptoms.
I treat myself with a course of either Coartem or Artusinate.
