I have been told from a local girl that she needs a document from the immigration office and from the ministry of foreign affairs to leave the country after we get married at a cost of 1850 American dollars .Does this sound right seems extremely high ,she also need a clearance from the police saying she has no criminal back ground .

She will need a visa to enter America but that does not cost that much money. There is no such document from Foreign affairs. She may need a criminal record check to get the visa but that can be got from a police station for less than 50 cedis.
