Cheap budget hotels and hostels start at S$60-80/night, but you might want to budget S$100 or more to get something reasonable. Look out for budget chains like Hotel 81, Fragrance Hotels or Santa Grand.
(In case you were thinking of renting a private room: This is unfortunately not allowed in Singapore.)
