I am planning to come to Dar-es-salaam in Feb 2014.
My company is offering me the following:
Local salary : 425,000 Shillings
House Rent Allowance : $400
Utility Allowance: $50
Apart from Overseas Saving & Travelling from place of stay to place of work + Medical.
Is this salary ok for a single person to live in Dar-es-salaam?

Really, do you even need to ask it? 425,000 shillings make only US $ 265. I wonder if you can even eat in this much amount.
What kind for job are you going to do?
Plus ur coming from India, don't work that cheaply......ppl who work this much cheap makes it difficult for others to negotiate salary.
