Agathoune! - The Offbeat Blog about Real France

After 10+ years of living abroad in France, I've pretty much gone native.  I have a list of hundreds of offbeat topics to write about and hope that I can help encourage friendship and understanding between Americans and French.

I've noticed that a lot of France Expat.coms out there tend to be from UK citizens, from retired writers, young students (just passing through for a year) or from people without a direct connection to a French family or a full understanding of the French language.  In my case, coming from middle class America and marrying into a French family, I think you'll find my blog insightful (and quite funny).  I am also working here, raising my young children and understand very complicated nuances of French languague, history and culture.
