Weekends are boring with nothing to do and my other expat friends chose to stay inside the flat. I prefer to travel outside, explore local history and regions outside Riyadh City. Since I do not own a car it seems merely impossible to do things on my own. Even if I hire a car I prefer to have travel buddy in case of an emergency.
So if there is any like minded people, I am UK M in late 30's .. gender doesn't matter, would like to join me as travel buddies?

interesting to know you are looking for buddies. There are activity groups out there in riyadh going for different trips, i suggest you join them. You can find them through Instagram, meetup and other similar appliations.
