Have you tried contacting the Indian Embassy in KL? Power of Attorney is a pretty simple document but I assume that either you will ask your lawyer in India to courier the document out to you for signing and notarizing, or else to ask a lawyer in KL to prepare it and have it notarized by a Notary Public or at the Indian Embassy in KL. Hopefully you can get a better answer from others here, but if not then I'd check with your lawyer in Indian or the Indian Embassy.

I agree with Shill, thats the way and its very simple. That said, make sure on the India side that the document will be accepted by the bank.
