Is a job offer 2000 BHD + vehicle + health insurance.

Hi all! Is a job offer 2000 BHD + vehicle + health insurance. is it enough for a family of 5 considering the below?

Reasonable international school for two (2nd and 5th grade)?
Rent a three bedroom non furnished apartment in Riffa?
Utilities for such apartment?
Monthly groceries?
Going out for a dinner once week in mid range restaurant?
Clothes (ex dress for a 10yr old)?
At the end how much left as saving or for unforseen randums?

Hi Adel Anwar Eid,

I invite you to have a look at the cost of living threads here : https://www.expat.com/forum/410-22-cost … hrain.html ,you may find some useful information.

As above, you can read the thread for the cost of items.

However, based on your package, your biggest expense is likely to be schooling.  In the Riffa area, the only decent nearby international school is RVIS which is  not affordable at your salary range.  7000 BD plus a year for school fees per child.   Further afield in Hamala is British school and St Chris in Saar; they would be in the range of 3000 bd a year.   There would be cheaper schools out there but expect nothing less than 1000 or maybe 1500 BD a year per child.

My view; it is possible to live in this salary but it is likely to be tough and you are going to have to watch your spending.

Thanks for the link but after the tax addition and having COVID19 penademic issue has the cost of living changed?

Too soon to determine that.  It will change but it will take 6 months or more to find out. And the tax ie VAT was in Saudi not Bahrain.
