Here in Ghana, there is a so-called consular officer with whom there is NO contact possible. With a secretary unable to simply say "hello" in one of the three Belgian national languages. And who answers you frankly that if you are not happy, you can go see elsewhere !!!

So I did like nine times out of ten in Africa, I went to the French embassy.

I travel the whole world since my youth with my family then now for work, the first rule I learned is "NEVER COUNT ON BELGIAN DIPLOMATIC REPRESENTATIONS". Even in countries where there are real embassies, the day you are in shit, they will answer you that it is your fault and that you will only have to fend for yourself ...
