You will need formal qualifications and experience to get a job of any kind in Australia.
Cost of living is high. Visa costs are high too.

Thanks a million stumpy for good advise. I have the qualifications, the skills, competencies built on positive experience. What I seek are further and newer opportunities more so here in Melbourne. I will truly appreciate one when I am lucky to get it. I am still living in Nairobi, Kenya and I am willing to travel over and if possible resettle in Melbourne.

First things first, so go online,find employment agencies and contact them for possible employment.
Be aware that if you do manage to find a job the visa and work permit process takes a very long time to get processed.

If you are young enough you may be able to get a working holiday visa. You have to be between 18 and 30 years of age.
