Hi All,
Joined today as I have the opportunity to move to Kuwait on a permanent basis.
Looking for some information on housing costs as a first port of call.
I will be working in the Port area and will be coming with my wife so am looking for a 2 Bed Apartment - preferably furnished.
Not 100% sure of the geography and place names I have seen on the site so far
Any info, hints and tips would be greatly appreciated on good and bad areas
Budget of circa 350KD per month on the accomodation

welcome to the blog.here thee are two main sea ports.both of them are pretty far from each other.one near the city, and other in the south near oil fields.
this might help you.there are few furnished apartments if you scroll down.its closer to the port in the south.

ports eh? so that puts u in Shuwaikh, which luckily is accessible from a myriad of roads, so anywhere u choose to live will suffice; unless ofcourse the Mrs. is a faculty professor who has been given an offer @ Kuwait University - then your workplace would be within walking distance from the housing on campus

by far the best place to work in kuwait is indeed kuwait city, hands down, i was there for 2 years and they were the best ever; the landscape, the hussle and flow, not to mention the many millions of eateries all around
