Life for family

Hi,

I write from Italy, I am 36 and I work as employed for an international freight forwarder (italian as mothertongue I speak a good english but I want to improve it, in my job also a little french and spanish).
My husband is 39 and he has more than 10 years experience as welder specialist and more 3 years as warehouse manager for a national transport company.
We have a daughter, she is 7 and a dog.
We woul like look for a job from Italy and then moving to Denmark.
As per your experience do you think our skills and experiences are enough for danish jobs market?
Dogs are well accepted?
Thank you so much for attention!

The problem will be the language. Except a few companies/branches the spoken language is Danish. As an expat you'll have to compete with native applicants who have home advantage.

My best advice to you will be to look at job ads which is written in English (Italian) to see what emerges. Of course, you can also take a look at the Danish ads, maybe try some of them.

Unless the race doesn't belong to the blacklisted races, dogs are well accepted in society. However, a dog can complicate finding a housing as many landlords don't want animals in their apartments.

An addition to this list that calls for a shoutout is the handyman platform Pinploy.dk , i is another great way to find smaller jobs when you arrive in Denmark and are finding your footing!

Good luck :)

How is to live in Denmark?
