How to perform Aqiqah for new born in UAE

Hi,

I need information about performing Aqiqah for my baby. How can I do it. I went through few websites and they accept charity only in form of money equal to buying one or two goat(s). Where as my wife wants to get some part of meat so that we can distribute it to friends in our circle (That's how we do it in Pakistan).

Guidance required please.

Dubai has strict sacrificial laws i.e. you can't just perform it anywhere. This is governed by the municipality and they have abattoirs designated for that. I think there is an app that you can order online on. Another options is to go to the cattle market, choose an animal and ask for the sacrifice to be performed and the meat to be delivered to you - be clear that you don't want to do it at home and want to follow the law as there are illegal butchers hanging around there as well as plainclothes police / CID who are on the lookout for this.
