Re: Living in Malaga
I moved to Spain nearly 10yrs ago. I made sure I had a job (with accommodation) before arriving. I worked for 7 yrs in the travel trade. Very demanding tho and gave it up due to ill health. Since then I have made a small income from market gardening with my (new) partner (whom I met here). We live a very simple life, but have all we need.
It can be tough though with the red tape, need to have an income regardless (no welfare state here!)... But on balance we say, 'The sunshine makes up for a helluvalot!'.
Only advice I can give through the ups and downs is - keep thinking if you had to move back to Britain... And likely you will soon find a solution to whatever life throws at you
