Hi I'm new to this site and I'm looking for help and advice. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 13 and 4. I am a Nurse, my husband is a chef. We are considering a move to Gibraltar. Can anyone tell me what employment opportunities are like for our professions? How do schools work? Should we live in Spsin as opposed to Gibraltar? Sorry for all the questions, we are just new to this. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance, Carol. 😃

Hi Carol

Nursing, Gibraltar has it's own National Health Service take a look at their web site http://www.gha.gi/

and lots of restaurants.

The schools follow the UK national curriculum and are free to Gib residents but not if you live in Spain so a serious consideration.

Spain accommodation is generally cheaper than Gib but then you must consider Travel, Education etc.

I would suggest you take a short break in Gib to see how life is here for yourselves and give your husband the chance to check out employment opportunities.

Unfortunately this forum is very SLOW and underpopulated so be patient
