What are the key emergency numbers you should know by heart?
In the event of a legal problem, an accident, a natural disaster, an injury or the death of a close family member, what are the first things to do in Ukraine?
What are the things to plan ahead in order to better cope with such unexpected situations (registration at the Embassy, transport, medical, comprehensive insurance for instance)?

Dealing with emergency situations in Ukraine
First off all and the for most thing every traveller needs to do vial visiting Ukraine get your self registered in nearby embassy and ask for the authority numbers.
If you are travelling for a short trip then better to book a hostel near the krishatik there is a nice hostel and the surrounding is also very charming a walking distance from Maidan.
People's are very co operative and especially if you are a guy then ask for assistance from a lady and if you are a lady then from a guy.
If there is anything like accidental death then you need to make all the arrangements by having a chat with your concern authority and don't forget to ask for a dearth certificate.

If you are hurt/sick do not go to a state run facility. In general,they are afraid of the risk and repercussions that come with treating an expat.
(My friend from Brazil had Mononucleosis and the authorities sent him to 5 hospitals. The last hospital was the psych ward. I had to help we found out he was contagious and had to be isolated. In the hospitals, you should have someone bring you basics, towels, sandals, water,fork.knife. In the "nicer" facility he was brought to, they provide , even if we would pay).
