Clashes in Brazzaville: stay safe

Operations are underway in Brazzaville following the incursion of armed forces last night in the South. Clashes occurred with the police in the city's outskirts.

Foreign nationals who are on the spot are therefore advised to be extremely cautious. It is highly recommended to avoid moving around the city, particularly in the suburbs and in Pointe Noire.

You are also advised to keep away from public gatherings in case you have to go out.
