It depends what kind of entertainment you like. St.Julians and Paceville nearby are very lively but it's mainly for clubbers and bar lovers. Younger people frequent this area at night. Bugibba and Qawra are very anglofied. You get your bars and pubs, fish & Chips and Sunday lunches. Valletta is up & coming but more layed back as a Capital City. It was quite dead after 7pm a few years ago but is now beginning to thrive, especially at the weekend. It is a beautiful city. Old style. Lots of architecture and is in the form of a fortress city. A MUST see even if youn don't plan on staying there. It's my home and I am proud of it. ;)
