A friend is coming to visit me from the Philippines. The information I find regarding visas specifies a 21 day tourist visa at no charge or a 90 day visa for a fee.

I am wondering if this information is accurate, and if there are any other requirements. Do they have to show money, etc. etc.

The information are accurate. If it's her first time to travel outside the Philippines she needs to bring ID from the company that she works with, enough money (depends on how many days she will stay in Vietnam), address on where she's staying. So far that's what I know. I hope this help you.

Its true bt shes not required to show money. She just have to pay for the visa letter for a 90 day visa.
