Depending on the country you come from, you get 30 days free entry, but if staying over 30 days, you need to get an extension at a BoI office before the 30 days ends.

you need to make your post clearer -are you applying for a 59 day visa somewhere in philippines or are you referring to the visa waiver you would get on arrival in philippines?
