Hi all,

I would like someone to help with finding a home Outside of district 1. majlrity of the listings here are not what im after? As im looking for more a vietnamese style and not flashy apartment. I hear the best way is sign postings on poles but i do not speak vienamese yet.
I know I'll have to pay commision this way.
Alternatively are there some other websites recommendations?

Hi Ben

These are the websites that I normally use to find houses/ apartments/ rooms for rent, most of them are posted by the owners themselves so no brokerage commission is required. The issue is, they are all in Vietnamese so you would need help from a local friend to do the translation for you and accompany you to look at the places and negotiate with the owners. The list price is subject to negotiation.

So who do I trust?????!!!!! Do they just take commission?

Thanks everyone for your replies. I should make it clear I am not buying property. And im looking for a place just for my wife and I, not homestay. I would just like a rooftop for morning exercise, and space for painting.

Hi Ben

I am not real estate agent, the above websites are what I normally use whenever I want to find new rent apartments/ houses for myself. They contain various options for you to choose, just need to seek help from your local friend with the translation and accompany you to see the places as well as to communicate with the owners.
