Ah, but in the absence of politics and (therefore) politically motivated individuals, the wars would be pretty minor affairs - more like neighbourhood squabbles than what we think of as wars.

Well here in Brazil it would save the taxpayers an absolute fortune, between the super-salaries that politicians receive plus all the additional perks. Oh, and lets not forget all the money from corruption, graft and kickbacks. That alone would lift more Brazilians out of poverty than anything else in history!.

World without politics would last only a couple of hours. 

The word politics is Greek: πολιτικός (politikos), meaning "of, for, or relating to citizens" (source: Wikipedia).
Thus a world without politics is only possible without citizens - which basically means without humans.

ofcourse but am afraid also non human and inhuman species will also get extinct due to the weapon system at hand today. 

It'll be better without it...
