Hello,
I heard that free to air UK TV stations are no longer available via satellite . is that correct.
What would you recommend for receiving a few free UK channels. Is IPTV any good?

the android tv box looks good there is also uktvmalta but thats a subscription service

FilmOn.com is free for SD and low cost HD, with a recording option too.
Use via tablet, laptop or PC.

We bought an Apple TV (jailbroken one) and we get all the English channels using the FilmOn app. And we have the on demand players like itv player and BBC iPlayer. It runs just off the wifi so u don't need to get a TV package at all 
would recommend one (or the android TV which runs the same programs)
