It depends on where you stay in Arusha, most areas are safe but there are a few that you should stay away from. You could stay at Kundayo apartments while you look for something, I stayed there for a month before moving to my house in Sakina. You can also stay at Karibu homes in Sakina, it´s quite safe there, and I have many friends who have stayed there.

Hi francisug,

You will find good apartments around Martin road, though it is in market area but i have found it safe so far.

There are apartments matching to your requirement in Kerai Building,  Nana house at this location. It will also depends how much you are ready to shell out monthly and area. Apartments here are ranging between $ 300 - 600.

Thanks, this will be very helpful

Hi everyone,

I'm Liz and I moved to Dar Es Salaam last week. I'm staying in Kigamboni.

I haven't really met anyone yet so if anyone fancies a catch up or playing some tennis please get in touch.

Also, I'm setting up where local charities can put some information about themselves so they have an online presence. If anyone knows of any local charities that they think would be interested in this please could you also let me know about them

Thanks,

Liz

Hi Liz

I live in Morogoro and am also looking to meet new people in Tanzania, let me know if you come this way! I also work for an NGO so maybe I could help with your website.

Sometimes I come to Dar so will let you know when I'm next that way.
