Any US expats working for Sadara in Jubail? (Medical Insurance?)

Hi,
Question for US expats currently working for Sadara in Jubail.

Does Sadara medical insurance provide coverage for you and your family in the US? If yes, what kind of coverage is it? Standard PPO? Which insurance company? Are there separate deductibles/coinsurance for US coverage? Can you get treatment and medication from the US while living in Saudi (e.g. for conditions which may not have good providers available in Saudi, or getting medicines from US which are not available in Saudi).

Lots of questions above, but will appreciate any input.

Thanks

This is from a Sadara supervisor. Since your post was in November, 2013, please let me know what you and your family figured out to fix this situation. We are scheduled to go to Saudi in June, 2015.

The candidate will been given local medical coverage when he is on OJT and in regards to his family they are fully covered when they arrive here in KSA (as long as they are living here not on a visit). It is important to note that they are only covered for emergency cover only when outside of KSA and as I said before they must all be living here in KSA for this coverage to be given.

While the candidate is on OJT the company will cover his accommodation, medical and incidentals (Per diem) but this program has been designed for him only not families.
